It’s just one of those age-old questions: If you sleep with an alternate-reality version of your girlfriend, does it count as cheating?
Well if Milo Stone’s girlfriend Stephie finds out it sure will!
The first issue of the Hero Squared ongoing series (which was preceded by a one-shot and a three-issue miniseries, now available in trade paperback, for those keeping track) keeps the misadventures and laughs coming.
The brilliant writing team of Keith Giffen and J.M. DeMatteis (Formerly Known As The Justice League, The Defenders) are at it again with a near-perfect blend of humour and heroics as Milo deals with the fallout of his indiscretion and the ongoing problem of the alternate-reality version of himself, Captain Valor, swooping into to ruin his day even more.
Mix in some solid art courtesy of Joe Abraham and there’s no denying Hero Squared has all the fixings to be Boom! Studios’ flagship title.
