It’s not Girls Gone Wild and not even Girls Just Wanna Have Fun — but there are elements of both in The Luna Brothers new book, Girls.
The creators of the PG miniseries Ultra have taken their act to R with a much racier release, which opens with a scene that involves just that (if you take my not-so-subtle meaning).
The debut issue continues with sexual innuendos, an embarrassing misogynistic rant and culminates with a naked woman on a road. It’s a lot to take in, but the Lunas, Jonathan and Joshua, craft such a compelling comic that it flows together seamlessly and leaves you wanting more.
In short, the Lunas are stars on the rise and Girls takes them even higher.
